If all goes well, our world will end when our sun burns out in a few million years. Although by then humans might even have moved to other star systems. Who knows?
If humans mess up badly before then, we might manage to wipe out a lot of life on Earth, but I doubt we would end up killing absolutely all life here (if in doubt, there’s always the cockroaches!). So I’d say that doesn’t count as the end of the world. Also I’m pretty confident that ultimately humans will be too smart (and like living too much) to let that happen.

As Martha said, the will burn out in about 5 thousand million years time. However, the average lifetime of a species is about 5 million years so it’s likely that human will be extinct LONG before we have to worry about the sun burning out.

Maybe a meteor will hit the earth.
Maybe there will be the biggest volcanic eruption ever that clouds the sky from any sunlight and crops wont grow and we’ll run out of food.
Maybe our population will grow too large for us to survive.
Maybe robots will get too smart and powerful and then take over.

All these possibilities and more. I don’t know which one to pick

I’m not sure if it ever will end, or at least not on a timescale that would bother us as humans. Things tend to just change and adapt over time.
