• Question: is it true that volcanos could exist on other planets that instead of sending out hot material spurt out ice cold materials.

      Yes it is true, other planets do have active volcanoes. Venus and Mars are thought to have volcanoes that are much bigger than those on Earth and all signs seem to point to them having erupted in the past (although no recent activity).

      Also Saturn’s frozen moon, Enceladus, shoots towering streams of water through a crust of solid ice. I find this strange but cool at the same time.

      The stuff coming out of the volcanoes on these planets would seem cold to us, but hot relative to the rest of the planet- the stuff coming out of volcanoes is always hotter than it’s surroundings.
