That’s tough one. I’m going to go with the mathematician Jon von Neumann (I call him a mathematician but he actually did much more). This guy was incredibly smart but also a little different and very social.
He enjoyed having big parties at his house. He loved to work when things were chaotic and he played music loud and worked in front of the TV.
Although perhaps some of those things would get annoying it’s always great to hear when a mathematician isn’t your typical boring “always doing maths all the time” sort of person. I just think he would have been fun 🙂
Erm…..great question. There was this American Chemistry Professor called Henry Eyring who came up with a theory to describe chemical reactions, would be awesome to have worked with him.
