1 Question: I'd like to become a botanist, do you think A-levels such as Biology, Chemistry, History, and one year of maths would be fine? I enjoy them all. I don't want math for two years. Keywords: a-level, botanist, history Asked by ProfessorM to Paul on 25 Jun 2015.
Paul Brack answered on 25 Jun 2015:
I think the best thing to do is to go onto the website of university’s that offer botany courses and see which A-levels they require. Here’s a useful link: http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/courses/options/botany/ It suggests that you need either biology or chemistry. Here you can search through all of the courses linked to botany: http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/courses/search?s=Botany
Hope that helps :-).
