I loved Biology and Chemistry at school, wasn’t so keen on Physics. When it came to choosing my A-levels and later on my degree, I just played to my strengths, chose subjects I really enjoyed and was good at. If you find something interesting, enjoyable and/or have a passion for it then you’ll be more likely to succeed. That’s not to say that it will be easy, but you’re far more likely to excel at something if you find genuine enjoyment in it.

I really liked science in school. I found it really interesting. I was always interested in learning how the body worked so I really like biology. It just happened that I was better at maths because I did a lot of it.
Now I apply my maths skills to biology so it’s great really 🙂

I did like science at school, especially Biology. Overall I preferred maths though.

I really liked maths and biology at school, but chemistry and physics not so much – mainly because I happened to come across some chemistry and physics teachers that weren’t great. In hindsight I wish I hadn’t let that hold me back quite as much. 🙂

It wasn’t my favourite, but I did like it. I was more into History, English and Geography for a long time, and French and German. But I eventually came round to science.
