• Question: Did ur experiments with mice go really bad somewhere?

      Ah that’s a good question… I wouldn’t say really bad, but of course you get better at the experiment over time, so there is no way of avoiding mistakes at the start. Here are some I made:
      The first surgeries I did took longer, and I made everything bigger because my hands just weren’t as precise yet. So those mice woke up definitely less comfortable than the ones now. By the way, that happens to human surgeons too – being the first surgery of a young doctor can be a bit uncomfortable. 🙂
      Same for the computer games – at the beginning I didn’t know how to best teach the mice, so the first ones got a lot more frustrated because the tasks were too hard or the rules didn’t make sense to them. I also had a few times when the computer game suddenly froze, and the mice were running around pointlessly and getting annoyed by it.
