• Question: can the world hold more than 8 billion people

      I think it probably can. We don’t have the resources to sustain the 7 billion or so we currently have though. A lot of the way we use resources though is very wasteful, so I’m not sure long-term. From a capacity perspective, I think 8 billion is possible, but maybe day to day life will have to change. It might be that we don’t get to that number and the population starts to fall once we’ve reached a peak amount, which might be less than 8 billion.
