I’m still at Oxford University and I can honestly say that I’m enjoying it.

I’m now a postgraduate student which means I’ve already been to university and I did my undergraduate degree (in maths) at Southampton University.

I preferred the social life at Southampton University but I think that’s down to the fact that my lifestyle was very different. I only went in t Uni when I had lectures, which wasn’t everyday. I went out with friends most nights, and I got involved with sports and drama and dance. It was incredible.

Oxford is quite different in the way it is set out but there are still opportunities to do the things I mentioned in Southampton. I don’t do as much now because I’m at work Mon-Fri pretty much.

To be honest many students at Oxford say they wouldn’t change their experience and I honestly wouldn’t change my experience at Southampton. Basically it’s likely that it won’t matter what uni someone goes to, you’ll adapt and make the most of your time there.

So that’s my honest opinion. I preferred my time at Soton for the social life but had I done my undergrad degree at Oxford I would probably be saying the same thing about Oxford.

Let me know if there is anything in particular you want to know. i’m aware that my answer was very general.
