I wish. Even if my work does change the world a lot it wont happen straight away. Usually things take a long time before they actually change the world.

For example electricity was properly first studied in the early 1800’s but it wasn’t until 1879 that light bulbs were first properly used. So it takes decades for things to catch on sometimes.

Possibly. To be honest most scientific advances take an awful long time, and an awful lot of people are involved. So will my particular word change the world? Maybe in a small way, but I hope to contribute my little bit to a bigger change by joining it together with other people’s work.
