• Question: why are some people's eye sight poorer then other's?

      The eye acts basically as a lens which means it bends the light that travels and meets your eye.
      If someone has perfect vision then the light will bend correctly and meet in one place at the back of the eye (called the retina). However some people’s eyes (like mine) don’t bend the light by the right amount so the light doesn’t meet at the back of the eye properly leading to vision being blurry.

      With that said, there are many other reasons why sight may not be perfect but I believe the most common reason is that light isn’t bent correctly.
