Ooooh that’s a tough one. I’ll have to say that it’s this one: “Our Secret Universe: The hidden life of the Cell”.
The animations are amazing. David Tenant narrates it and it really brings the cell and the insides of our bodies to life. You can watch it here: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1f26gz_bbc-our-secret-universe-the-hidden-life-of-the-cell-720p-hdtv_tech

With that said, I love David Attenborough and any chance I get to watch one of his documentaries, I’ll take it. I love seeing ant colonies. They are amazing.

I’d agree with Jonny – I really enjoy all the nature documentaries by David Attenborough!
There is also a very cool documentary called The Lightbulb Conspiracy. It’s about the fact that companies on purpose make products that break after a certain time, so that you have to buy a new product. The name of the movie comes from the fact that people already figured out last century how to make light bulbs that can burn for decades on end. The problem is – selling a person one light bulb every 50 years doesn’t make any money. I think this is an incredibly important topic for our time – how to make a financial system where we don’t produce waste on purpose.

The World at War is a classic. I also liked the series on Chemistry that Jim Al-Khalili did in 2010 called Chemistry:a volatile history. That was really interesting.
