• Question: what do you need in science to be a midwife

      Hi 284, I don’t think you need that much background in science to be a midwife. Of course some medical knowledge about how a fetus develops, the hormonal changes during pregnancy and during and after birth, the diet that babies need… but all of that is pretty much covered in midwifery courses. It’s a fascinating job!
