• Question: How does wind start? I know that its to do with our spin and that somewhere has to be still at one time but how?

Paul Brack answered on 20 Jun 2015:

Wind is the motion of air molecules. If there are more air molecules in one area (higher pressure) then in another (lower pressure), then air molecules will move from the area where there is more of them to the area where is less of them in order to reduce the pressure difference, and we get wind.
