      Paul Brack answered on 18 Jun 2015:

      One of our big world problems is energy, specifically making sure we have enough for everyone, and also that it’s clean enough to limit global warming. So if I can succeed in my research, I can hopefully contribute a small part of the solution to these two problems.

      There are still so many more medicines that we can make to help treat people who are ill. I hope that my work will help other people design medicine to help people.
