Well, one theory is that you could use a thing called a wormhole. They are predicted to exist somewhere in the Universe by Einstein’s Theory of Relativity (the thing that made him super famous). A wormhole is a passage through space and time that would theoretically allow you to travel through time or take a shortcut to the other side of the Universe.

However, there’s a couple of problems with the time travel-wormhole thing. One is that the likelihood is that they would be very small, possibly even smaller than an atom, so we would rather struggle to get through. Another issue is that they aren’t predicted to be very stable; in other words, if you got in a wormhole, it would probably collapse before you got to the other side, leaving you stuck in some sort of rather awkward, out of universe space, or perhaps shot back through the other end of the wormhole, who knows? Also, unfortunately, no one’s ever found any real life proof of a wormhole.

So sadly, though the idea of using time travel to escape school forever is possibly very appealing, the probability that they might exist is quite low.
