I don’t believe in God in the way that many religions portray God so I probably share similar views to Alison and Martha in that respect. I just love to live life and share happiness. If faith in God or religion allows people to be happy then that’s all good with me.

I believe in the concept of God (otherwise we wouldn’t be able to talk about him). I believe there are lots of things we can’t explain, nor should they need to be explained for them to glue people and societies. I also believe that people should be nice to each other and there is such a thing as the greater good and karma. Some people say that means I believe in God, but I don’t really identify myself with a religion. Having faith is a good part of what it means to be human for me though. 🙂

I’d say I’m in a similar place as Alison when it comes to god… I believe life and the world is much bigger and more awesome than we usually notice, and I believe that everything is ultimately connected to each other, so kindness (and karma) is an important force of life. I think all religions more or less agree on these principles, because they are just part of the human experience of life. And if you want to call that connectedness of all things god, I wouldn’t mind that either. But I don’t believe in a specific idea of god held by one specific religion.
